Experienced Project Manager joins ADJUGO

Pierre, a 10 years experimented ICT Project Manager, joins ADJUGO  as Senior Consultant.

He has already worked in many companies from different sectors as Telecommunication, Services and Financial and has actively participated in the implementation and development of project management methodologies as PMI, PRINCE2 and QUAPITAL/HERMES.

Pierre will contribute to ADJUGO's development through coaching, teaching and knowledge sharing.

ADJUGO wins long term IT Governance engagement at NMBS/SNCB

The engagement will performed by our IT Governance specialist Corne de Graaf, in direct cooperation with CSC.

The purpose of this challenging engagement is to erect a brand new IT Coordination organization at NMBS. This implies that the future IT strategy, IT governance processes and IT processes will be designed and implemented from scratch. As such, this mission is fully in alignment with the core services of Adjugo.

ADJUGO wins contract with Guidance

ADJUGO has concluded a contract with the education center Guidance. ADJUGO will be responsible for providing all ITIL related trainings to Guidance.

ADJUGO wins contract with Astrance (FR)

ADJUGO has concluded a contract with the French company Astrance. Astrance' key business is to provide green services to its clients (green supply chain, green buildings etc.). Since Green-IT is perceived be a key element to complete their service offering, Astrance has opted for ADJUGO as their partner to offer Green-IT to the French market.

Adjugo publishes the Green IT Survey Report 2007-2008

ADJUGO recently launched a survey on Green-IT among over 1000 respondents. The purpose of the survey was to assess the awareness and maturity of Green-IT in Begium. The survey has now been closed and we would like to thank all participants. The response rate was extremely satisfying and the results are now available here.

Green-IT Governance in the press

ADJUGO has given many interviews over the past couple of months, resulting in siginicant exposure in the media. In the February edition of magazine Business-ICT, a three page interview was dedicated to ADJUGO's view on Green-IT (http://www.datanews.be/nl/business-ict/63-89-1384/governancemodel-voor-green-it.html).

Additionally, the next edition of the magazine Solutions is entirely dedicated to Green-IT. Also here ADJUGO will appear as a key player in Green-IT Governance. Finally, on February 23, our view on Green-IT will be highlighted in the Belgian paper Vacature.

ADJUGO launches ITIL v3 courses

In February 2008, ADJUGO organized its first ITIL v3 course for one of Guidance major clients in the IT industry. More similar courses will be organized in the future in close cooperation with Guidance.

Strategic Consultancy Mission

ADJUGO has started a Strategic Consultancy mission for a Belgian Company leader in RFID products and integration projects.

ADJUGO will mainly help the Company in better positioning itself but also in increasing the internal software development team productivity.

ADJUGO welcomes its HR Manager

On January 1 2008 Eric Descamps joined Adjugo as HR Manager.

We are happy that we were able to fill this stategic and senior vacancy. Decent HR management is the cornerstone of our company. Eric has served as an external IT consultant / project manager in a wide variety of companies.  He will now be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness and quality of our HR processes. This includes key account management, selection and recruitment, matching supply and demand, etc. Eric's contribution is of vital importance to Adjugo.

Senior Consultant from Ernst & Young joins ADJUGO

Corné joins ADJUGO as Senior Manager and brings his in-depth knowledge of IT Governance to the Company. He will share his time between Consultancy missions and business development.

Corné has a broad experience in the area of IT project management, IT process improvement, IT Governance, Information Systems process reviews (e.g. related to SOX 404), IT General Controls reviews and Management Information Systems. Within Ernst & Young TSRS, Corné was the industry leader for Financial Services and acted as a subject matter expert in the field of IT Governance and Transaction Advisory Services. He was a member of the TSRS Executive Committee and the TSRS HR Committee.

Corné holds a Masters degree in Information Management. He is a Registered EDP Auditor (RE) in the Dutch order of registered EDP Auditors as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Software Measurement for a large financial institution

ADJUGO defines and establishes a Measurement Program for the IT department of a large financial institution. The program aims to establish an organizational repository that will receive data for a diverse set of source systems. The measurement repository will allow the generation of sophisticated metrics and indicators to support the management of projects, products, processes and the organization. From Corporate Governance to IT Governance Seminar

Thierry Holoffe, ADJUGO’s CEO, has given a seminar on IT-Governance for a number of high level Managers. Because of the success and the perceived importance of the subject, we will see repeat runs of this seminar ever three months.
This training is the first one of a set of seminars targeting IT Governance.

Project Management and coaching mission for Social Security sector

ADJUGO won a contract for interim project management in the Social Security sector. It involves an extension of the existing DMFA-application, which allows employers and social secretariats to submit their declarations electronically.
The interim mission aims to get the project moving again and to provide some coaching in project management techniques.

Business Analyst Mission for a large bank

ADJUGO provides functional Business Analysis to an international Belgian Bank.
The project itself encloses the HO reporting application, which is developed in house, based on the financial accountancy package MIDAS.
The mission consists in the functional and technical re-analyzing of the database and the programs for the United States and Asian branches. The same work will apply latter on for the European branches.

Change Management mission for the Beverage Industry

ADJUGO provides ITIL based Change Management role for a top 5 Beverage Industry Company.
Our certified consultant will manage all changes in the IT infrastructure across Europe and he will work with technical teams in Belgium and other European countries to have the changes implemented. He will also consult management in process improvement and review existing processes. Because of his high leadership skills our consultant will also coach the ticket handling team-members in their day-to-day tasks.

Function Point Analysis for an Insurance Company

ADJUGO will perform a Function Point Analysis project for an Isurance Company.
Our highly specialized FPA-consultant will use Function Point Analysis to support the Measurement and Analysis Process Area in CMMi level 2.
Thanks to her high level of experience, our consultant will also coach others in the use of FPA and will consult management on the use of the methodology in the frame of CMMi.

RUP consulting for a major Integrator

ADJUGO has won a contract for the support of the RUP methodology in a major project, run by a major integrator for the European Commission.
Alec will coach the project manager and the team members in the use of RUP and will validate the UML designs made.

Project Recovery

Nearshore Project Recovery Mission
Adjugo has started a mission in May for the recovery of a major international project. This highly visible project suffered major delays, and progress was hard to measure.

Adjugo established better monitoring practices, introduced pair programming to enhance staff morale and introduce new programmers and improved the professional image of the project by better reporting to the customer.

The project is getting back on the rails, confidence is restored and the project has delivered the first stage to the customer.
