Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance covers all activities that monitor the quality of the services or goods produced. Its goal is to provide evidence that quality-related activities are being performed effectively. Quality has to be monitored during all phases of product development and service delivery: design, development, production, installation, servicing and documentation, in order to prove to stakeholders that a product or service meets needs, expectations, and other requirements.

Quality Assuurance guarantees the existence and effectiveness of procedures that attempt to make sure - in advance - that the expected levels of quality will be reached.

The goal of process improvement is to create an environment where the quality improves and can be of a consistently high quality.

Quality Assurance is a highly complementary activity to P.I., making sure that the processes established are effectively used and that the product and services meet required quality standards.
