Seminar - An analysis method to improve processes

When a process does not work properly, the people involved in the process always try to automate the process. They are convinced then that the process will work more efficiently and faster. This is without counting the different activities and steps between each output of the automated activity until the input of the next.

It is only when nothing seems to work properly anymore that organizations tend to hire a Business Process Management expert in order to see whether the process has problems in its execution on the shop floor.  This kind of attitude comes out of the administrative environment. Because it is difficult to see what gets in the process and what gets out of it, that people tend to find an easy answer to a complex question.

Process improvement occurs before automation of the process flow. The automation of the process flow only works when the process works on an efficient basis with effective people working in it.

This training gives you a deeper insight in how to improve processes and which analysis methods to use in order to visualize the problem areas.
