Senior Functional Analyst - BNP Paribas Fortis (Brussels)
Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to join the Payment & Cards squads within the Channel & Customer Experience Tribe. The mission focuses on enhancing digital banking services for enterprise clients through innovative payment and card management solutions. You will contribute to the evolution of the EBB Payment module, enabling secure, transparent, and seamless global transactions. In parallel, you will support the transformation of the EBB Cards module into a fully digital self-service platform. This position offers the opportunity to impact the daily banking experience of thousands of professional customers.
Working within an Agile environment, you will analyze business needs, evaluate solution alternatives, and design detailed functional specifications. You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality applications. Your expertise will help streamline end-to-end customer journeys, from transaction initiation through reporting and support. You will also contribute to software testing activities and maintain clear project documentation. The role combines analytical thinking with hands-on collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
The assignment is ideal for experienced functional analysts who enjoy solving complex business challenges and translating requirements into robust technical solutions. You will work with modern banking technologies including APIs, distributed Java applications, Mainframe systems, SQL, and data management platforms.
