Business analist voor GDM project - Federale Politie - Police
Description
The Federal Police Information and ICT Directorate (DRI) hosts the ANPR programme. Its remit includes information management policy, the police information concept, technical standards and information and communication systems. ANPR cameras recognise number plates and compare them with available records, including stolen or reported vehicles and access permissions. Police use ANPR for road safety and judicial assignments, with average-speed enforcement also part of the camera estate.
The Business Analyst works within the ANPR traffic workstream, primarily on Gatso Device Management, also called GDM or Speedmaster. The project connects dynamic speed signs with fixed speed cameras. The assignment maps the current server, camera infrastructure and software, and helps define a target state that reuses existing solutions and equipment differently. Detailed functional and technical designs, documented processes and knowledge transfer support a smooth transition to the Run team.
The consultant collaborates with programme project managers, key users, IT architects, data experts, analysts and software engineers. Findings must take feasibility, timing, budget and dependencies into account. The role also supports long-term ecosystem planning, regulatory compliance and data protection analyses. The full-time hybrid assignment requires at least two office days weekly in Brussels, and telework is permitted at a home or employer address in Belgium.
