Business Analyst

Description

This Junior Business Analyst assignment sits within the BNP Paribas Fortis Transformation Office and focuses on professional loans. The consultant elicits, analyses and documents business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements. The role builds domain knowledge while working closely with product owners, architects and subject matter experts. It also supports continuity and reuse of knowledge across projects in the program.

The consultant analyses and designs business processes, defines detailed product requirements and use cases, and helps establish application metrics and performance goals. Requirements and use cases are transitioned to designers with an emphasis on clear and complete understanding. The Business Analyst also translates requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance and user acceptance testing. Requirements traceability, impact analysis and coverage analysis are actively managed throughout delivery.

The assignment includes participation in quality reviews of designs, prototypes and other requirements work products. The consultant plans and executes the BA requirements management strategy and drives the business analysis effort across all project phases. Close partnership with internal and external development and technology delivery organizations is required to manage dependencies and support successful solution delivery. The role also serves as a liaison to the business community in a 50% on-site and 50% homeworking regime.
