Data Analytics Engineer

Description

ONEM-RVA is looking for an experienced Data Analytics Engineer with proven hands-on experience in data projects. The role covers every phase of the data lifecycle, including data analysis, modelling, workflow orchestration, quality monitoring and performance optimization. The engineer will work pragmatically and according to Agile principles.

The assignment focuses on designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines and ingesting data from diverse source systems. The target environment is a hybrid data platform combining an on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse with a cloud-based Modern Data Platform. The EDW follows Data Vault methodology, while the cloud platform uses a medallion architecture.

The role requires deep SQL, dbt and Kimball dimensional-modelling knowledge together with good Data Vault 2.0 knowledge. The consultant must also be familiar with Databricks and Power BI and bring recent proven experience as both a Power BI business analyst and Analytics Engineer. A Master's degree, the listed certifications, confirmed technical skills and active knowledge of Dutch, English and French are requested.
