Description

The Federal Pensions Service is looking for an experienced API Analyst to strengthen the Integration Team. The consultant supports development teams in designing, standardising, managing and further developing APIs and integration solutions. The integration landscape uses ESB technologies including AXWAY and Fuse. The role translates architectural guidelines into concrete and practical API agreements.

The position is an enabling role and explicitly not an API developer role. The API Analyst analyses and documents API needs and helps translate functional and technical requirements into API contracts, specifications and integration agreements. API standards, naming conventions, versioning, error handling, security guidelines and documentation quality are monitored. API governance, reviews, standardisation and reuse are also central to the assignment.

The consultant collaborates with business analysts, functional analysts, development teams, architects, security and operations teams. API designs and integration choices are aligned with enterprise and solution architecture and composable architecture principles. Knowledge sharing, templates and guidelines further support development teams. The assignment therefore contributes to a modular, reusable, secure and manageable application and integration landscape.
