Description

Belgoprocess is a semi-public organisation that plays a key role in the safe processing of radioactive waste and the decommissioning of nuclear installations in Belgium. It combines technological expertise, innovation and a strong sustainability focus to contribute to a safe future. The working environment puts safety, teamwork and professional growth at the centre. Projects have a direct impact on the environment and society.

The Project Leader is responsible for following up, planning and adjusting construction, maintenance and multidisciplinary projects and worksites. The role supports contractors, the leading official and/or project leader so projects are delivered to the required quality and in accordance with legal requirements. The main focus is on the construction and execution phase of both ongoing and new projects. The role coordinates execution in time and space and helps create the practical conditions for smooth delivery.

The assignment combines contractor coordination, technical follow-up, administration, document control, safety management and stakeholder communication. The Project Leader acts as a first-line worksite contact, chairs contractor meetings and helps resolve or escalate execution issues.
