Description
The ICT Project Manager works within Sibelga's Digital Business Solutions department, in the IT Infrastructure unit. The unit is responsible for the evolution and operation of IT and OT infrastructures and workplace services. The Infra Projects team leads transformational initiatives that secure and evolve these infrastructures. The assignment focuses on infrastructure and security solutions supporting Sibelga's information system.
The Project Manager manages and coordinates all project activities from stakeholder identification through delivery. The role defines scope and deliverables and derives the project schedule and budget. It also identifies and manages risks and issues and assesses the impact of changes. Knowledge transfer must be ensured so impacted parties can maintain continuity in business-as-usual operations.
The assignment requires expert-level ICT project management experience, including at least ten years in the role. Relevant projects include Cloud migration, IT security, and broad IT Infrastructure domains such as compute and storage, networking, data centers, virtualization, hybrid cloud, digital workplace, and telephony. The engagement runs at a 100% work regime with hybrid homeworking and at least three on-site days per week in Brussels. Sibelga provides a laptop, while parking is not foreseen for external resources.

General skills
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in French or Dutch with passive knowledge of the other language at B1 level.
- At least 10 years of proven experience as an ICT Project Manager at Expert level.
- Proven experience applying project management techniques, including risk management and issue management.
- Proven experience applying Service Management best practices.
- ITIL certification, minimum V3 (preferred).
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP (preferred).
- Proven experience with RFI/RFP and identification of external partners (preferred).
- Working experience at a Distribution Network Operator (preferred).
Technical skills
- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects involving Cloud migration and/or IT security technologies and controls.
- Proven experience managing IT Infrastructure projects covering at least 4 of these domains: Compute & Storage, Network, Data Center, Virtualization, Hybrid Cloud, Digital Workplace, or Telephony infrastructure.
- Proven experience with security infrastructure technologies, controls, and best practices.
