IT Functional analyst
Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is looking for an IT Functional Analyst Expert to reinforce the Tribe International Payments team in Brussels. The mission is positioned within the transformation of cross-border payments, including the use of blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology payment rails. The objective is to contribute to faster, secure, transparent and continuously available payments while reducing the costs and complexity of traditional payment rails. The consultant will join an international, multicultural and empowered squad working according to Agile methodology.
The consultant participates in the analysis, design, development, integration, testing and support of payment products, solutions and services using Java technology. The role identifies business requirements, investigates possible solutions and their costs and benefits, and details the selected solution, including relevant data and supported processes. Business requirements are refined into functional and technical requirements, Features and User Stories. The consultant also ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, architects, asset teams and technical teams.
During construction and after production deployment, the consultant follows up development and testing, documents solutions, and supports suppliers, Test Engineers, release teams and deployment teams. The role contributes to API implementation, maintenance and future improvements, while analyzing production incidents and coordinating their resolution. At least seven years of Functional Analyst experience is required, together with functional and technical IT systems knowledge and experience with Swagger APIs, banking and payment products. The position combines strong analytical expertise, stakeholder collaboration and Agile teamwork in an international environment.
