Description
Sibelga is strengthening its Energy Transition team of about 15 employees within Digital Business Solutions. The team manages applications that support the energy transition, including customer access to energy consumption and the management of energy communities. It also supports applications used to manage customers in vulnerable situations. The application landscape includes a digital data hub, an ERP system, and mobile and web applications connected through web services.
The IT Functional & Test Analyst participates in the evolution of these applications by analysing business needs and translating them into functional solutions. The consultant facilitates discussions and workshops, aligns possible solutions with the end-to-end IT architecture, and validates them with the business. The role acts as an intermediary between business stakeholders and development partners. Functional designs and analyses are documented using the applicable methods and tools.
Testing and operational quality are central to the assignment. The consultant coordinates, develops and executes test plans, controls development deliverables, and follows identified bugs through resolution. The role also shares responsibility for application management with developers and provides second-line support for incidents and problems. The assignment runs at a 100% work regime with hybrid homeworking and a minimum of three days per week on site in Brussels.

General skills
- Demonstrable experience as a functional analyst: minimum 5 years, senior level.
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the other Belgian national language.
- ISTQB certified.
- Proven experience coordinating testing across business, functional analysts, developers and project managers.
- Proven experience designing and executing test scenarios.
- Proven experience in E2E testing and test coordination: minimum 5 years, senior level.
- Proven experience in requirement analysis.
- Proven experience with incident/problem analysis and second-line support.
- Proven experience with energy market regulation MIG/UMIG processes: minimum 5 years, senior level.
- Proven experience with Scrum methodology.
Technical skills
- Proven experience with SQL queries for functional or incident analysis.
- Proven experience with XML/message validation.
- Ability to determine solutions aligned with IT architecture and the end-to-end application and technology chain.
- Ability to document solutions and analyses in a functional design.
- Ability to control development quality and coordinate, develop and execute test plans.
Tools
- Proven experience with Jira.
- Experience using UML for analysis.
- Experience using Enterprise Architect for analysis.
- Proven experience with a modelling tool is preferred.
