Product Owner Service, Senior
Description
Elia Group is tackling the challenge of enabling the energy transition and supporting massive electrification while maintaining a reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity system. Within Grid Development, this requires strong digital, data and analytical foundations for smarter investment decisions, faster studies and resilient grid planning. The SGS product line provides capabilities covering scenario and grid studies management, advanced calculations and analysis, system needs, planning storylines, long-term portfolios and planning workspaces. These capabilities are brought together to enable consistent, efficient and data-driven grid planning and decision-making.
As Product Owner for one of the three SGS Product Teams, you are accountable for maximizing delivered product value. You translate product vision into a clear, prioritized and delivery-ready backlog, with user stories and acceptance criteria grounded in customer and end-user needs. You combine product vision, continuous discovery, backlog ownership, release planning, stakeholder alignment, quality assurance, adoption follow-up and continuous improvement. You also make the reasoning behind priorities explicit and balance value, feasibility, risk and delivery constraints using qualitative and quantitative evidence.
You work closely with the SGS Product Line, Grid Development experts, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, IT and Data delivery teams. Together, you build modular, reusable and customer-centric digital, data and decision-support solutions that strengthen Elia's ability to design the future grid and make informed long-term investment decisions. The environment emphasizes Agile working, pragmatic innovation, transparency, experimentation and continuous learning. The mission is based in Brussels with a 100% work regime and, by default, two days of onsite presence per week.
