Senior Product Owner - BNP Paribas Fortis (Brussels)
Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is looking for a Senior Product Owner to take ownership of the professional credit experience for business clients. You will represent both the stakeholders and the voice of the customer within a cross-functional Scrum team. Your role will be to capture expectations, preferences and concerns and translate them into a clear product direction. You will ensure that the product vision remains consistent throughout each Sprint.
You will build the product roadmap, clarify business needs and translate them into functional specifications for the development team. You will define priorities, manage the Product Backlog and support iteration planning to ensure that the right content is delivered at the right time. You will align stakeholders around the product objectives and act as the decision-maker for delivered functionalities. During delivery, you will adjust Sprint Backlogs where required and safeguard the consistency and quality of the product.
This assignment requires a senior professional with at least five years of relevant experience and strong expertise in Agile methodologies, project management and budget management. You should combine strategic thinking with a structured and analytical approach, while demonstrating leadership, negotiation skills and attention to detail. The role offers a balanced hybrid working model, with 50% on-site presence in central Brussels and 50% homeworking. Limited travel within Belgium and internationally may occasionally be required.
