Description

The Marketing and Communication department of BNP Paribas Fortis has been pursuing an ambitious agile transformation over the past year. It has introduced a cluster structure with self-organising, multi-disciplinary squads to improve empowerment, efficiency, independence and cooperation. The model is intended to support qualitative marketing campaigns and other relevant deliverables while reducing time to market. The department now wants to continue its agile evolution in both day-to-day practice and mindset.

The Senior Agile Coach will guide squads, chapters and individuals in implementing an agile operating model aligned with the wider BNP Paribas Fortis agile model and adapted to MarCom needs. The coach will assess team maturity and methodology knowledge to select suitable implementation techniques. The role also coaches senior management, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, chapter leads and other relevant profiles in agile mindset and practical application. A key objective is to sustainably embed an effective and value-adding agile way of working.

The assignment combines hands-on coaching with facilitation, change management, training, mentoring and continuous improvement. The coach participates in operational meetings, monitors methodology use, recommends tailored work processes and coordinates agile ceremonies.
