Banking Domain architect
Description
The Senior Banking Domain Architect works in the Customers Tribe with an exclusive focus on the AML domain. The mission is to ensure the coherence and sustainability of AML solutions and systems. Architecture decisions must align with enterprise strategy, domain blueprints and BNP Paribas Group practices, rules and principles. The architect also considers technology evolution and constraints such as risk, cost and delay.
The role works closely with Business and IT stakeholders to capture business needs, document functional solutions and promote and validate proposed solutions. It designs solution architecture to fit the bank’s strategy and standards. Enterprise data modelling expertise is used to design reusable APIs, events and data products for digital transformation projects. Cloud expertise is applied to support solution design with cloud capabilities.
The architect advises on studies, projects and assets, including internal development and package solutions, and supports and controls implementation of architectural rules and decisions before and after production installation. The role defines, documents and maintains reference architecture with simplification in mind and participates actively in architectural committees. It communicates current and target architecture, rules and best practices while tracking business and technology evolution. Expected deliverables include enterprise, asset and reference architectures, standard patterns, strategy, urbanization, blueprints, diagrams, system maps, interfaces, studies, rules and principles.
