Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking an Expert Business Analyst to reinforce the Fraud Cluster within the Customer Servicing and Efficiency tribe. The cluster provides tools to fight fraud and coordinates the bank-wide strategy against fraud. The wider tribe supports remote customer interactions, process automation and fraud-prevention solutions. The assignment runs in Brussels from 15 September 2026 through 30 September 2027.
The Business Analyst will combine core business-analysis activities with ownership of selected end-to-end features and opuses. Working within priorities and scope set by cluster product owners, the consultant will lead needs collection, ideation and refinement, coordinate contributors and stakeholders, challenge business needs and document validated requirements. The role also covers functional analysis when required and ensures customer-experience aspects are properly addressed. Clear, regular and unambiguous stakeholder communication is central to the mission.
The consultant will translate business and client needs into requirements that enable squad members to progress autonomously and will liaise with other contributors as needed. The role includes preparation and participation in end-to-end testing, reporting progress, defects and risks, and supporting business onboarding and go-live through change management. Candidates need more than six years of relevant Business Analysis experience, Agile ideation/refinement and Opus ownership experience, plus strong Dutch, French and English communication. Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection in banking is a differentiating advantage.
