Description

Elia is seeking a freelance expert to establish a harmonized document management governance framework across the organization. The role contributes to reliable information management in support of Belgium's energy transition. You will work with business and IT stakeholders in Brussels.

The assignment focuses on defining standards for metadata, localisation, version control and retention while ensuring compliance and information security. You will analyse and improve processes, coordinate migrations and support governance adoption. User training is an important part of the mission.

The ideal consultant combines document governance expertise with change management, stakeholder management and strong analytical skills. Native Dutch or French plus English are required. The engagement runs from August 2026 until December 2027.
