Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking a Senior Product Owner for its Transformation Office in Brussels, with a focus on Professional Credits for business clients. The consultant will represent stakeholders and the voice of customers within a Scrum Team. The role owns the professional credit experience and translates customer expectations, preferences and aversions into product priorities. The mission runs from 1 September 2026 through 30 June 2027.
The Product Owner will build the product vision and roadmap and translate them toward the development team. The consultant will clarify needs, draft key functional specifications, plan iterations and continuously prioritize the Product Backlog. The role also keeps stakeholders aligned, safeguards product consistency and quality, and participates actively in Scrum ceremonies. The Product Owner is expected to make or arbitrate decisions on delivered functionalities and adjust the Sprint Backlog when priorities change.
The assignment requires at least five years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree, and expertise in agile methodologies, budget management and project management. A native level of French or Dutch and fluent English are mandatory, together with strategic, analytical, negotiation, structured, quality-focused, goal-oriented and leadership capabilities. Knowledge sharing, team success, continuous learning and cross-functional contribution are central to the expected Agile mindset. The working model is 50% on site in Brussels and 50% homeworking, with limited travel in Belgium and internationally.
