Description
Athora Belgium is seeking a Project Manager to lead regulatory transformation initiatives related to life insurance products, systems, and operational processes. The consultant will ensure that the company remains compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks such as Solvency II, IDD, ESG, and AML requirements. Working at the intersection of business, compliance, and IT teams, the Project Manager will translate complex regulations into practical solutions and deliver projects that maintain both compliance and customer value. This mission requires a strong understanding of the financial services environment and the regulatory landscape affecting life insurance organizations.
The consultant will manage projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning to implementation and post-delivery evaluation. Responsibilities include defining project plans, timelines, and resource needs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of regulatory changes. The role also includes performing impact assessments on products, systems, and processes, as well as adapting product documentation, customer journeys, and internal workflows to meet compliance standards. Close collaboration with compliance, risk, actuarial, legal, and IT teams will ensure that all regulatory obligations are implemented efficiently and correctly.
The Project Manager will also oversee governance, reporting, and communication activities, ensuring that senior management and stakeholders remain informed about progress, risks, and regulatory milestones. Deliverables include dashboards, risk logs, project documentation, and audit-ready materials. In a complex regulatory environment, the consultant must demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to drive change across departments.
