Scrum Master - Senior - BNP Paribas Fortis (Brussels)
Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to support agile squads in an IT transversal environment. The Scrum Master is the key reference for projects using agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. The role ensures that the methodology is clearly understood and correctly applied by the project team. The consultant helps the squad maximize delivery results while protecting it from internal and external distractions.
You will set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Planning and Retrospectives. You will schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology, support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog and assist the squad in delivering the Definition of Done and Sprint Backlog. Tracking capacity and velocity metrics will be part of the role to support planning, transparency and continuous improvement. You will also help the team identify and resolve impediments that affect delivery.
The mission requires a servant-leader who can coach, challenge and protect the squad in a complex stakeholder environment. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders and may maintain relationships with third-party providers in collaboration with other agile and asset management roles. The ideal candidate combines delivery experience with strong knowledge of agile tools, software development methodology and project management methodology. The working arrangement is hybrid, with 50% on site in Brussels and 50% homeworking, plus limited travel to Paris.
