Description

Sibelga, the electricity and gas distribution system operator for the Brussels-Capital Region, is preparing a major transformation strategy targeting 2027. The objective is to automate the installation process across its application landscape. This assignment supports the preparation and study needed to establish the roadmap for execution. The architect will connect strategic business objectives with resilient, scalable, and secure technical foundations.

The role focuses strongly on enterprise identity consolidation and cloud foundations. The consultant will design a multi-phase migration from fragmented legacy and multi-cloud identity providers toward a centralized IAM framework. The work also covers production-ready Cloud Landing Zones, security, networking, governance, standardized infrastructure-as-code, automated compliance, and shared services. AWS and Azure are central platforms in the target environment.

The consultant is expected to bring senior infrastructure architecture experience and strong enterprise architecture capabilities. Required expertise includes IAM for environments of at least 1,000 users, architecture modelling techniques, and AWS/Azure cloud conception and implementation. The engagement has a 30% work regime with at least one onsite day and an indicative 25 days per person. The request is linked to a project request requiring suppliers to submit offers for both specified profiles to remain compliant.
