Description

The Artificial Intelligence tribe at BNP Paribas Fortis is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to help a growing squad balance run and change activities. A key part of the mission is supporting the transfer of existing run and lifecycle-management activities to an outsourcing partner. This transfer should free local teams to continue implementing the target vision. Experience working with offshore partners in India is preferred.

The Scrum Master is the team's key reference for applying the Scrum methodology correctly and consistently. The role sets up and facilitates Scrum ceremonies, schedules methodology steps, supports backlog and delivery artifacts, and tracks capacity and velocity. It also involves removing barriers, protecting the team from outside distractions, and managing risks and issues. The Scrum Master coaches and challenges the project team toward gradual self-organization.

The role works with business lines and stakeholders to explain productive interactions with the agile team and acts as an ambassador for agile methods within the company. The Scrum Master reports on proper Scrum deployment and contributes to a tribe community of practice, with an opportunity to join a company-wide guild. The environment emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, autonomy, and alignment with IT strategy. The work arrangement is split equally between on-site work in Brussels and homeworking.
