Description
Fluvius seeks a Senior Solution Architect for its Transform & Digital department in Melle. The architect analyses, designs, documents and guides IT solutions throughout the lifecycle of a portfolio initiative. The work translates organisational needs into future-oriented, secure, scalable and manageable solutions. Architecture is maintained in SAP LeanIX throughout the lifecycle of applications and integrations.
The architect maps the current situation and identifies architectural constraints. They maintain alignment between business needs, functional requirements and technical solutions. Solution alternatives must make advantages, disadvantages, risks, costs and dependencies transparent. Designs must follow enterprise architecture, security guidelines, technology standards and the strategic roadmap.
The architect supports delivery teams during analysis, development, implementation, migration and go-live. Deliverables include architecture diagrams, documented decisions, trade-off analyses and proof-of-concept validation. Composable architecture helps maintain delivery team autonomy. The fulltime assignment runs from 8 December 2026 to 8 December 2027, with 220 indicative days and a possible 12-month extension.

- Monitor application integration lifecycles.
- Align business needs, functional requirements and technical solutions.
- Propose solution alternatives, detailing advantages, disadvantages, risks, costs and dependencies.
- Align solutions with enterprise architecture, security guidelines, technology standards and the strategic roadmap.

General skills
- Proven Solution Architect experience: at least 5 years, senior level.
- Proven guidance of delivery/product teams during implementation: at least 2 years, medior level.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical ability and the ability to clearly justify architecture choices during the interview.
- Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

Technical skills
- Proven translation of business and functional requirements into technical designs: at least 5 years, senior level.
- Proven integration architecture experience: at least 4 years, senior level.
- Proven knowledge and experience of modelling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA).
- The completed template must demonstrate sufficient experience with cloud or hybrid architectures.
- Proven API management experience.
- Proven ArchiMate experience.
- Proven business continuity and disaster recovery experience.
- Proven container platform experience, for example Kubernetes.
- Proven event-driven architecture experience.
- Proven experience guiding proofs of concept to compare different conceptual architectures.
- Proven legacy modernisation experience.
- Proven microservices architecture experience.
- Proven TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture framework experience.
- Proven experience with different integration architectures (ASB, Kafka, SAP CPI (PO/PI), etc.).
Tools
- SAP LeanIX: maintain architecture and monitor the complete lifecycle of applications and integrations.
