Description

This senior assignment is situated within the Directorate of Police Information and ICT (DRI) of the Federal Police. DRI manages police information and ICT resources, while the Systems Division (DIST) is responsible for areas including system architecture, systems, networks, databases, security and specialised support. The consultant works in a multidisciplinary environment with internal and external staff. The assignment forms part of the further digital transformation of the Integrated Police.

The Business / Functional / Technical Data Analyst analyses existing mainframe domains, data models, functions, processes and queries. The consultant also supports migration from legacy environments to a modern architecture.

The role requires close coordination with business users, architects, developers, database administrators, security specialists and project managers. The consultant supports workshops with domain experts and acts as a bridge between business, data, architecture and technology. The assignment is full-time in Brussels, with office presence at least twice per week depending on tasks and in consultation with the team, and remote work within Belgium.
