Data Analyst
Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a Data Hub Business Analyst - Initiative Owner mission in Brussels. The consultant will drive business analysis from initial ideation through delivery. The scope includes business cases, requirements co-creation and continuous solution improvement as business needs evolve. The assignment runs from 1 September 2026 through 31 December 2026.
The role requires detailed analysis of existing data flows, user roles, usage patterns and data issues to define target solutions and use cases. The consultant will collaborate with Product Owners, architects and subject-matter experts to validate requirements and align business and development teams. Requirements traceability must be maintained to support impact analysis. Business needs will also be translated into test conditions for product, performance and UAT testing.
The consultant will support data architecture design, solution validation and quality reviews of prototypes while helping delivery through testing and change management. Report and dashboard creation is also part of the mission, with the consultant acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The position requires at least four years of relevant experience plus strong technical, business and interpersonal capabilities. The working model is hybrid, with an expectation of 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
