IT Functional analyst (Expert) - BNP Paribas Fortis

Description

BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking an Expert IT Functional Analyst to turn business problems and requirements into solutions that can be integrated into the enterprise production environment. The analyst evaluates possible solutions with attention to enterprise architecture, strategy, costs and benefits. The role includes detailed functional design covering data, processes and application impacts. It requires close cooperation with business and IT stakeholders.

During preparation and elaboration, the consultant accompanies the business analyst and client, proposes suitable alternatives and helps ensure adoption of enterprise architecture and security standards. The analyst works with architects, project and asset managers, product owners and involved asset teams. Business requirements are translated into detailed functional requirements, with responsibilities aligned across assets and technical teams. Application impacts are identified and specified in line with the agreed architecture.

During construction and production, the analyst follows development and testing, defines cross-team technical components and supports suppliers through integration and assembly testing. The role includes defect analysis, release and deployment support, operational assistance and production incident coordination. Documentation must be maintained as the solution evolves. Work is organized in Agile sprints and requires a collaborative, pragmatic and continuously improving mindset.
