Description

Elia Group is seeking an IT Team Leader & Transition Manager to join its IT Architecture team in Brussels. The consultant will guide and support Solution Architects in planning, methodology and delivery excellence. The role also participates in the Enterprise Architecture team. The assignment supports Elia Group’s work on reliable and sustainable electricity infrastructure in Belgium and Germany.

A central objective is to manage an internal reorganization that merges the Architecture and Product teams into a single operating model within three months. The consultant will define governance and decision-making with the existing team and Enterprise Architect, clarify interfaces, and drive the transition plan. The role must remove organizational, process and stakeholder blockers while preserving delivery continuity. Building trust, collaboration, momentum and team cohesion is essential to making the merged organization effective and self-sustaining.

The consultant will also lead Solution Architecture operations across digital initiatives. Responsibilities include workforce and request management, SciForma PPM assignments, steering-group participation, standardized deliverables, quality controls, operational follow-up and problem management. The role requires more than ten years of transition and project management experience plus broad architecture-methodology knowledge. Merger/transformation experience, agile IT product delivery and Energy & Utilities experience are advantages.
