Description

The Product Lead will own a product line within Elia's Platform Energy Solutions product cluster and ensure its strategic success. The role defines and continuously refines an insight-driven vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with PES and Elia priorities. The Product Lead translates strategic priorities into clear product bets and ensures the product line delivers measurable value to customers, partners, Elia, and society. The position operates at the heart of energy-transition challenges, including evolving energy markets, flexibility, and timely connection of new production and consumption units.

The role creates the conditions for product teams to thrive by providing context, autonomy, support, and clear governance. It leads product ceremonies, enables continuous discovery and delivery, represents the product line to senior leadership, and serves as the primary escalation point for product decisions. Close collaboration with operations, key account managers, other Product Leads, and multidisciplinary teams ensures customer knowledge, operational feedback, and cross-product dependencies shape priorities. The Product Lead also sets measurable KPIs and is ultimately accountable for the product line's budget and performance metrics.

People leadership and external stakeholder engagement are central to the assignment. The Product Lead coaches Product Managers and Product Owners across Strategy, Discovery, Delivery, Marketing, Analytics, and Leadership, while defining roles, responsibilities, and development plans. The role fosters evidence-based, outcome-focused ways of working and governs products across their full lifecycle from innovation and discovery to in-life management and retirement. It also leads client and partner engagement and aligns with federal and regional regulators on priorities and solution design.
