Scrum Master – Alpha Credit (Brussels)
Description
Alpha Credit is looking for a Scrum Master to support Agile project delivery within its IT and Portfolio environment. The Scrum Master acts as the key facilitator and Agile reference point for project teams, ensuring the correct application of Scrum methodology and helping teams maximize project outcomes. This assignment is ideal for professionals passionate about Agile coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a dynamic banking and IT environment. You will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to create efficient and transparent delivery processes. The role combines facilitation, coaching, reporting, and Agile governance responsibilities.
As Scrum Master, you will organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives. You will support the Product Owner with backlog management and help teams maintain focus on sprint goals, delivery commitments, and Definition of Done criteria. The role also involves tracking team velocity, planning capacity, and removing obstacles that impact delivery efficiency. In addition, you will promote Agile best practices across the organization and help teams progressively improve self-organization and collaboration. Strong communication and servant leadership skills are essential to foster trust and encourage knowledge sharing within the squads.
The ideal candidate combines Agile methodology knowledge with a proactive and team-oriented mindset. Experience with Agile reporting tools such as Jira and familiarity with software development methodologies are required.
