Description
The Tribe Scrum Master joins ALPHA CREDIT's MyConsumption tribe to orchestrate delivery of highly customer-exposed digital products, including web and mobile applications. The consultant ensures precise planning in collaboration with the Delivery Manager and coordinates work across multiple business lines, internal teams and external partners. Acting as a central catalyst, the role aligns business and IT so they work as one tribe and consistently deliver the highest business value.
Most of the role is devoted to helping stakeholders communicate, coordinate and cooperate effectively. The Scrum Master creates a smooth delivery environment, facilitates continuous improvement and helps the tribe self-organize and self-manage. The consultant reinforces Scrum and Agile practices while working closely with multiple squads, the IT Tribe Lead, Business Tribe Lead and Product Owners.
The assignment requires an expert profile with at least five years of relevant experience and a recognized Scrum Master certification. Strong Agile reporting and follow-up capabilities, end-to-end delivery experience, financial-services knowledge and familiarity with regulatory and compliance constraints are mandatory. The consultant is also expected to navigate complex stakeholder conflicts, maintain a helicopter view of intertribe dependencies and exert significant influence to promote Agile practices across and beyond the tribe.

General skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Scrum Master certification such as PSM, CSM or equivalent.
- Proven knowledge of the financial services sector, such as banking, personal finance or payments.
- Experience with IT constraints and compliance requirements in highly regulated environments, including GDPR, banking-specific regulations and security standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to cope with complex conflicts of interest between stakeholders.
- Ability to adopt a helicopter view to identify and resolve present and future intertribe dependencies.
- Significant influence on colleagues and stakeholders to promote Agile practice at tribe level and beyond.
- Experienced profile capable of taking the role of guild lead Scrum Master.
- English working knowledge.
- Active knowledge of at least one local language: Dutch or French.
- Passive knowledge of the other local language: French or Dutch.
Technical skills
- Proficiency with Agile reporting and follow-up tools.
- Experience with the end-to-end delivery workflow: ideation, exploration, refining, delivering, implementation and deployment.
- Knowledge of standard IT processes such as Change Management and Release Management is preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to project delivery within a regulated financial institution is preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to product ownership within a regulated financial institution is preferred.
