Description
The Federal Police Systems Division develops the ICT system architecture and organizes and manages ICT systems, including servers, networks, databases, communications and technical infrastructure. It also manages datacenters, defines technical standards and implements ICT security and protection. This assignment operates within that central and critical technology environment.
The Federal Police is developing an artificial intelligence strategy aimed at the responsible, safe, legal and ethical use of AI. Its AI-Lab is a controlled and secure experimental environment where AI applications can be developed, tested and validated before possible deployment within the organization. The consultant will contribute to the container infrastructure supporting these applications while helping embed governance, security and compliance from the outset.
The Senior OpenShift Administrator AI will implement and administer Red Hat OpenShift 4+ and Kubernetes infrastructure, primarily for AI workloads. The assignment covers automation with Ansible, monitoring with solutions such as Prometheus/Kibana, performance analysis, capacity expansion planning, infrastructure updates and architectural evolution. The role contributes to the digital transformation of the Integrated Police within a modern, reliable, high-performance and secure environment.

- Linux virtualization solutions such as Red Hat Virtualization, KVM or VMWare, expert level.
- Knowledge of OpenLDAP and Samba, junior level.

- Linux backup and restoration solutions, for example Commvault, junior level.
- Preferably bilingual Dutch-French, or sufficient basic knowledge of a second national language to participate smoothly in meetings with other specialists.
