Description

The Federal Police is undertaking a major digital and organizational transformation led by its Digital Transformation Office (DTO). The reform of 13 May 2026 requires six Brussels police zones to merge into one by 1 January 2028. The new organization will cover 19 municipalities, over 7,000 police officers and nine divisions. ICT continuity is critical for HR, payroll, operational communications and police applications.

The Product Analyst maps existing processes and applications to design future operating options for the unified police zone. They maintain functional specifications and translate decisions into configurations, reference data, interfaces, access permissions and migration tasks. They collaborate with federal application teams responsible for HR, local police management and Police-on-Web. They also specify application testing and migration validation controls.

The role includes preparing and facilitating workshops with police zone representatives and DRI, recording outcomes and preparing decisions for the appropriate authorities. Proposed solutions must reconcile federal standards, regulatory constraints and local operational needs. The analyst works within a multidisciplinary team of internal and external colleagues. The assignment is full-time, hybrid, requires at least two office days weekly and may be renewed.
