Description
As Senior Product Owner Employee Benefits, you represent the business for key products and processes within NN Insurance Belgium's Employee Benefits domain. The domain covers 2nd pillar and group insurance solutions such as pension, disability and death cover offered by employers to employees. You act as the bridge between business and IT and help shape the Employee Benefits strategy. Your work supports employers, brokers and insured affiliates through products, services and digital journeys.
You define product vision, roadmaps and priorities and translate business needs, customer feedback, regulation and strategic objectives into features, epics and user stories. You own and prioritize the backlog based on business value and customer impact while coordinating dependencies across teams. You collaborate with stakeholders, Agile teams, architects, Domain Leads, Product Owners, developers, operations, customer service, distribution partners and portfolio managers. You also validate delivered solutions and support Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives.
The assignment is strongly focused on digital transformation and customer experience. Key challenges include digitalizing employer and affiliate journeys, improving administration and servicing of 2nd pillar pension plans and group insurance products, and making processes simpler and more transparent. You monitor market trends, customer expectations and technological developments and convert them into improvement opportunities. The environment encourages innovation, ownership, continuous improvement and close business-IT collaboration in a SAFe Agile context.
