Description
The Junior Product Owner joins Tribe Data Services and represents business stakeholders and end-users across data products, analytics, reporting solutions, and data domains. The role owns the product vision, objectives, roadmap, and backlog while maximizing business value. It requires balancing short-term demand with long-term sustainability and alignment to data strategy, architecture, governance, and regulatory expectations.
The Product Owner works closely with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Scrum Masters, Architects, business representatives, data consumers, governance bodies, and other squads. Responsibilities include refining requirements, prioritizing backlog items, making scope decisions, and ensuring valuable increments are delivered to agreed objectives and timelines. The role also coordinates with architecture, governance, security, and regulatory stakeholders when needed.
The assignment operates in an Agile environment with active participation in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. The Product Owner supports Sprint objectives and release planning, drives continuous improvement, and keeps squad activity aligned with the overall roadmap. The position combines data-focused product ownership with stakeholder leadership, analytical decision-making, and a customer- and value-oriented mindset.
