Description
The Scrum Master is the key reference within an agile squad using the Scrum framework. In this mission at ALPHA CREDIT SA/NV, you ensure the squad fully understands and applies Scrum practices to maximize delivery results. You protect the team from internal and external distractions and foster an environment of open feedback and trust. You act as a servant leader, enabling collaboration, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
You set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. You schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology, help the team face obstacles, and remove impediments to improve effectiveness. You support the squad with the Product Backlog, Definition of Done, and Sprint Backlog, and you keep an eye on risks and issues. You also track capacity and velocity metrics and ensure backlog consistency in Jira.
You coach business lines and stakeholders, clarifying which interactions support the team and which hinder progress. You encourage knowledge sharing and best practices and support competence development across the squad. The environment is cross-functional, so collaboration beyond primary roles is expected to reach sprint goals. The mission is hybrid (50% onsite in Brussels and 50% homeworking) from 02/03/2026 to 31/12/2026.
