Senior Project Leader (AI-First)
Description
INAMI-RIZIV is at an important turning point in its digital transformation and needs an experienced leader who can bridge strategic ambitions and concrete execution. The organization serves a broad network including healthcare providers, citizens, policymakers and internal teams. The assignment has a strong AI-first dimension. A key objective is to increase the organization's autonomy in applying AI.
The consultant will work in a multidisciplinary team using short, iterative product cycles. Responsibilities include translating organizational challenges into product questions and roadmaps, managing and prioritizing the backlog, and identifying impactful AI opportunities. The role also protects user needs through qualitative and quantitative research. Product quality, delivery validation and production performance are actively monitored.
The role requires confident navigation of a complex, multilingual federal stakeholder environment. The consultant must transfer AI knowledge accessibly, communicate technical and strategic topics clearly, and bring stakeholders through change diplomatically. Strong autonomy, decision-making and teamwork are expected. Hybrid working includes at least two days per week in Brussels, with remote work limited to Belgium.
