Description
The candidate will lead the implementation, integration and operational evolution of European border-management systems. The scope notably covers EES, VIS, ETIAS and the Business Intelligence platforms associated with the Belgian National Message Broker. The assignment concerns large-scale European IT projects. It combines governance, planning, delivery and institutional coordination.
The role includes managing scope, budget, schedule, risks and resources. The consultant will establish reporting and governance mechanisms and supervise integrations between European systems and national platforms. The consultant will also lead operational readiness, testing and deployments. Monitoring security, audits and compliance assessments is an integral part of the assignment.
A major component concerns Business Intelligence, data quality and observability. The consultant will define BI and KPI strategies, supervise dashboards and translate business needs into actionable indicators and analyses. The role covers Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana for architecture, ingestion, transformation, monitoring and reporting. The assignment requires senior expertise in IT project management, European systems, technical infrastructure and stakeholder communication.
