Description

SMALS is looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master for the Prescriptions Program, a strategic healthcare programme with several long-term workstreams. The consultant will support four teams active in medicinal prescriptions, referral prescriptions, referral prescription support, and the MyHealth mobile application.

The delivery teams work according to Scrum principles, while each team is overseen by a Project Manager using the PRINCE2 methodology. Some teams also use the SAFe framework for quarterly planning and coordination, which makes this role ideal for a Scrum Master who can operate pragmatically in a complex governance environment.

The successful candidate will coach both development teams and stakeholders in the consistent use of Scrum and Agile practices. From 2027 onwards, the role is expected to evolve towards a Release Train Engineer position, with the candidate obtaining SAFe RTE certification by the end of 2026.
