Description
The Belgian Federal Public Service Finance is rebuilding a large multilingual legal and regulatory knowledge platform that will serve both internal employees and external professionals. The new platform is based on modern data governance principles and AI-assisted software development with systematic human validation. You will become part of the senior start-up team responsible for laying the functional foundations before full-scale development begins.
As a Senior Business / Functional Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams. You will facilitate workshops, gather and prioritize requirements, model business processes, define user journeys, and produce high-quality functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria. You will also support backlog management, validate delivered functionality, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
This assignment is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Agile delivery, requirements engineering, process modelling, and SQL. Experience with Data Governance, APIs, Power BI, Python, or Enterprise Architecture is considered a strong advantage. The project offers the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious digital transformation programme within the Belgian public sector.
