Analyste fonctionnel - Federale Politie - Police
Description
The Federal Judicial Police is looking for a functional analyst to work on various judicial projects within the DRI. The DGJ primarily combats organised crime and conducts complex investigations at a supra-local level. It also provides support and expertise to the Integrated Police and to national and international partners. The assignment places functional analysis at the heart of ICT projects with significant operational impact.
A major focus of the assignment is biometrics, used for searching, identifying and verifying identities. The ABIS programme aims to replace the current fingerprint capture and management system. The new solution is intended to improve the performance and quality of fingerprint processing while introducing or strengthening facial biometrics. A centralised and scalable platform will also improve search accuracy and support future identity-management needs.
The analyst manages functional processes, analyses user needs and structures stakeholder requirements. The role includes writing detailed specifications, assessing the impact of changes and working closely with developers. The analyst defines tests, acts as the key contact for assigned functional matters and may develop and deliver user training. Strong communication, organisational, collaborative and autonomous working skills are also required.
