The Fine Platform within the Federal Public Service Justice coordinates and develops digital solutions that modernize the processing of traffic and criminal fines across Belgium. As a Junior Scrum Master, you support agile teams working on major initiatives such as JustFines, 67ter, and cross-border certificate handling. These projects improve administrative efficiency, increase legal enforceability, and help ensure smoother cooperation between Justice, the police, and European member states. You contribute to impactful, mission-critical ICT modernization for public services.
In this role, you guide teams in applying Scrum effectively, ensuring that ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives run smoothly. You help maintain transparency, support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, and remove obstacles that block progress. Through coaching and structured facilitation, you strengthen team cohesion and help teams develop predictable, value-driven delivery. Your work directly contributes to improving service accessibility and communication toward citizens.
Working closely with stakeholders, project management, and development teams, you help maintain alignment, manage expectations, and foster a continuous improvement mindset. You support hybrid agile/waterfall delivery, which is used to roll out evolving versions of JustFines and its related modules. The role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a complex governmental environment, gain experience with legislative constraints, and contribute to a safer, more efficient digital justice ecosystem.
