Description
As Senior Product Owner, you represent stakeholders and the voice of customers within a Scrum team. You capture expectations, preferences and aversions and translate them into prioritized product needs. Together with the Scrum Master and Development Team, you help embody the Scrum Team. You ensure the Development Team has a strong understanding of the product and that each Sprint remains consistent.
The assignment focuses strongly on credit initiatives, from defining objectives and deliverables through ideation, refinement and incremental delivery. You manage the backlog, define measurable acceptance criteria and prioritize features according to business challenges, technical constraints and user feedback. You also facilitate Agile ceremonies alongside the Scrum Master. Close collaboration with business, technical, risk and legal stakeholders is central to successful delivery.
Regulatory compliance, risk management and continuous improvement are integral to the role. You integrate legal and regulatory requirements from the design phase, document decisions for auditability and use metrics to assess initiative impact. You identify optimization opportunities and propose improvements based on data and field feedback. You also train users, communicate progress and act as a change agent for squad practices.

General skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master degree or equivalent based on demonstrable experience.
- Dutch: fluent.
- French: fluent.
- English: sound knowledge, together with at least one local language.
- Proven maturity in leading a team alongside a Scrum Master and managing stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of credit products and processes.
- Ability to see the overall picture (helicopter view) and think strategically.
