Product Owner - BNP Paribas Fortis (Brussels)
Description
BNP Paribas Fortis is looking for an experienced Product Owner to strengthen the Cluster Business Clients team within the Marketing & Communication department. The mission focuses on supporting the Corporate Banking segment and contributing to the ongoing transformation towards a more agile, efficient and business-oriented marketing organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, strategists and squad members to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives. The role combines business alignment, stakeholder engagement and agile delivery management. You will play a key role in ensuring that communication and marketing initiatives effectively support business objectives.
As Product Owner, you will capture and prioritize business needs, transforming annual marketing and communication plans into a structured and actionable squad backlog. You will ensure priorities are aligned with customer expectations, commercial objectives and strategic goals. Working in a dynamic environment, you will continuously reassess priorities, balance competing interests and ensure initiatives are clearly defined before implementation begins. Monitoring squad performance and delivery progress will be an essential part of your responsibilities.
The assignment requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies, stakeholder management and change management practices. You will regularly review delivered initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and promote continuous learning within the squad. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
