Algemene Centrale – ABVV seeks an experienced freelance Senior Developer / Tech Lead for its head office in central Brussels. The consultant contributes to challenging software projects using recent technologies. The assignment focuses on developing and optimizing a scalable business platform built on .NET and Azure.
The consultant sets technical standards by safeguarding code quality, conducting reviews and coaching developers. Business and domain questions are translated into clear technical analyses and specifications. AI agents write, test and refactor code, while the consultant oversees the architecture, security and quality of their output.
The essential stack covers Azure, .NET, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Angular and practical AI coding tools. Complementary technologies include Marten, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MassTransit, DDD and Elasticsearch, with AZ-204 and AZ-400 certifications considered an advantage. The profile combines problem solving, resilience, initiative, continuous learning, teamwork and autonomy, with Dutch, English and French listed. The preferred assignment dates are 1 November 2026 to 31 December 2028, and the contract is renewable.
