Solution Architect / Lead Developer (Senior) - Parking.brussels
Description
Parking.brussels, the Brussels-Capital Region Parking Agency, is modernising its information systems as part of a wider organisational and digital transformation. The agency wants to strengthen internal digital capabilities and better support its business departments. It is building an integrated, secure and sustainable digital environment. This assignment offers direct ownership of how that ambition becomes working software.
The Senior Solution Architect / Lead Developer will own application, integration, data and security architecture while remaining directly involved in delivery. You will lead refinement, estimation, technical risk management and engineering standards for a small development team. You will coach medior developers, review designs and code, and work closely with product, infrastructure, security and client stakeholders. Success is measured by reliable solutions reaching production, not architecture presentations alone.
The mission runs for twelve months, from 3 November 2026 to 3 November 2027, on a full-time hybrid basis in Brussels. The consultant must work on-site at least three days each week. Candidates need extensive engineering and technical leadership experience, cloud expertise, strong DevOps and security practices, and professional English. The assignment is offered through ProUnity, with a published daily rate of €800–€920 excluding VAT and no broker fee.
